Rory Nugent is an engineer and designer living in the NYC metro area. He has worked on projects ranging from artistic works to web development to embedded electronics.

Rory holds a Master's degree in new media art and physical interaction design from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), a department in the Tisch School of the Arts. He also earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the Stevens Institute of Technology where he also studied philosophy.

His work has appeared at SolarOne’s CitySol Festival, Sony Wonder Technology Lab, Greylock Arts, Exit Art NY, Instructables, Craftzine, Wired, featured in MAKE Magazine, and even exhibited internationally at the International Symposium on Electronic Arts (ISEA).

Currently, he is a lead electrical engineer at littleBits Electronics where he is also a founding member of the team.
